Launch of itSMF India !!
itSMF India chapter was launched on 27th October 2005 at the Bangalore IT.in event. Dr. S Sadagopan formally released a book on ITIL and launched the India Chapter. The membership plans and other information were made public during this event.

The Information Technology Service Management Forum India provides a forum for IT professionals and practitioners at all levels to network and learn from one another. Our informal events and gatherings are perfect places to meet people just like yourself.

The itSMF india provides an accessible network of industry experts, information sources and events to help you and your staff address IT service management issues and help you achieve the delivery of high quality, consistent IT service internally and externally through the adoption of Best Practice.

You'll meet others who are going through similar workplace challenges, understand the kind of frustrations you encounter, and have the same kind of goals and KPIs to deliver to. Mix with professionals with years of industry experience and consultants who work with a lot of different clients. Each has a wealth of knowledge to offer about what works and what doesn’t.

Gain access to information about making a measurable difference in the workplace, not just products. You won’t get the sales pitch – and you won't get yesterday's news, either. Information is up to the minute, regularly updated and pitched at all levels

What are our Aims?
itSMF aims to:

  • Develop and promote industry best practice in service management.
  • Engender professionalism within service management community.
  • Provide a vehicle for helping members improve service performance.
  • Provide members with a relevant platform enabling exchange of information.
